毕业于美国亚利桑那州立大学传播学院（Hugh Downs School of Human Communication, Arizona State University），获传播学博士学位。主要研究兴趣为跨文化传播与新媒体，特别关注（但不限于）以下三个议题：（1）行为科学视角下新媒体在跨文化交流中扮演的角色与经典跨文化传播理论在数字社会语境的验证与延展；（2）数字不平等理论在文化、技术、体育和健康等多维度的理论探索；（3）（相对而言的）新兴数字行为和数字文化的概念化、测量与社会技术影响。
特别欢迎对以上议题或广义的跨文化传播与新媒体在学理和实践层面感兴趣，具备一定外语水平或定量研究方法学习意愿的考生报考。

Qingqing Hu received his doctoral degree in Communication from Hugh Downs School of Communication, Arizona State University. His research interests include intercultural communication and new media. Specifically, much of his work aims to explore (but not limited to) three interconnected topics: (1) from the behavioral science perspective, how new media facilitate intercultural communication and, during which, how intercultural communication theories are challenged/extended in the network society; (2) how digital social inequality studies are extended and theorized in terms of of cultural participation, technological development, sports, and health; (3) conceptualization, measurement, and socio-technical influence of emerging digital behaviors and cultures.
Future students with strong interests in above topics or intercultural communication and new media in general, foreign language proficiency, and willingness to apply quantitative research methods are especially welcomed to apply.
